New year trip to kasauli, Need Help !!!

I have read a lot of good reviews about Kasauli in this forum, so finally me and my boy friend decided to go to Kasauli on this new year. We are planning to leave Delhi on 31st morning. I have need some help about my following queries-

1. My bf have never drive a car on any hill stations yet, Kasauli roads are safe for first time hill drivers like him ? I hope it's not risky like nainital etc.. ?

2. We are planning to take our Baleno, will it suitable for that area? or shall we take our I10 ?

3. We are planning to book Hills Pride Resort for our stay, Is it a nice place ? Let me know if you have any other good recommendations. We prefer to stay in resorts than hotels and good staff and cleanliness is very important.

If the HPTDC Ros Common is available, nothing like it. It is actully inside the town. It is 1 of only 2 hotels permitted inside. The rest are lower down. Meets all your criteria except the resort part.

There is a point in Kasauli, a narrow stretch of road where you can both watch sunrise and sunset.

Baleno is OK. Being an Air Force station, the roads should be well maintained, however hill station roads are hill station roads and due care must be taken at all times.

Beware the toll payments. You will have to pay every time you enter the town.

You can book the Kasuli Resort. It will be good & nice resort.
By drive its good & fun enroute you will lots of thing.
