You should get down at Aut (After Mandi, but before Kullu), and head towards Thirtan valley. Gushaini is a beautiful place. and afterwards you can venture into 'Great Himalayan National Park'. You can venture into that and can stay at FRH. For Booking you should look at www.greathimalayannationalpark .com .

Shoja is away from Thirtan Valley and is towards Jalori-Pass, which connects Shimla Distt. to Kullu Dist.
But I would strongly suggest spending time in 'GHNP'., you can contact the authorities there, who along with a NGO conducts good package tours for few days. I have seen local bus also between Aut/Gushaini, though don't know the timings.
