naggar-sarahan via jalori jot - where to stop in the pass?
rather than going via big, pricey shimla i think it best to try the jalori pass. i will be going by public transport starting upper road (i suppose) naggar.
can anyone give me some tips? i figure i will go to aut and then bus forward from there stopping somewhere for a day+ in the pass and on to sarahan. thank you |

Hi
Hi,
Naggar - Aut - Banjar - Nagini - Gushaini (Raju's guest house) Gushaini - Banjar - Shoja - Jalori pass - Khanag - Ani - Luhri - Rampur - Sarahan (One bus a day between Kullu and Rampur over the pass) Also considering Jibbi as a stay option on day one is good, however gushaini is worth the experience, as Jibbi just based on the main road. Enjoy. Cheers, Dhananjay |

hi sorry - i went to bangkok for a few days.
thanks dhananjay and esp voyager. can i split this up? getting in at 2am only to slog about for lodging does not sound appealing. more like trip from hell. >> maybe naggar to aut >> aut to gushaini >> Gushaini to sarahan ... forward as you described the big question does only one bus ply this route? dhananjay you seem to think many. breaking the journey only needing to pick up the only bus again next day at 8pm would not be fun. im not so concerned about times as long more that there are a few running. im in no hurry save for the monsoon that may be at my back if not set upon me by early june. |
