Mcleod ganj to Sidhbari

I will be visiting Mcleodganj on 16th June 2007 for a family holiday.

Is it possible to cover near by places relying on HRTC bus services?

Is there any public bus service available for visiting Chinmaya tapovan in Sidhbari, and other places like chamunda, Baijnath, palampur, Kangra, Chetru from Mcleodganj/Dharamshala?

Is there any bus service from Pathankot to Dalhousie and From Dalhousie to Mcleodganj/Dharamshala?

How is the taxi services in Mcleodganj? is it too expensive? how much for a day 8 hours 100km the taxi charges?

Any body can help me giving some details?? Thanks

You can have buses from Pathankot which is well connected with Dharamshala.

You can have many choices of taxi from bus stand of Macleod Ganj. There is plenty of scopes for bargains....

But Macleod Ganj itself is NOT connected with small and surrounding places by buses. You have to travel to Dharamshala for that.

Is Pathankot Railwaystation and the Pathankot bus stand (tocatch buses for Dharamshala/Mcleodganj)are located nearby? Is it with in walkable distance?

It's about a five minute walk from the railway station. As memory serves you turn left out of the station and the bus station is on the right.

Is is walkable from Mcleodganj (upper Dharamshala)bus station to Hotel Pemathang guest house on Hotel Bagsu road?

How is Hotel Pemathang guesthouse? anybody has experience of staying at Hotel Pemathang? How are the rooms and amenities?

How about Hotel Hunted Hill House? Is it very far from Mcleodganj sqare/bus station?

Is Dharamkot, Bagsunag falls is walkable from Mcleodganj square?

From Kotwali bazaar (lower Dharamshala) is Kunal pathri temple walkable distance?
