Mcleod ganj in August september?

I previously visited McLeod ganj in Oct/Nov. I understand it will be during the monsoon, so what am I likely to encounter weather wise in the Dehli Agra and McLeod ganj areas for 6 weeks in summer? How wet is the monsoon likely to be?

hi tracy,
i have been in mcleod the last 2 septembers and it seems that both years the monsoon has gone on longer than it 'should' have. The locals all insist that the rains should be over by the 15th sept (very precise) but they have continued untill the end of the month both times i've been there and even into october.

During the monsoon it can be very wet with massive storms and possibly day-long rain. Once over, however, you can get some fantastic weather with blue blue skies and great trekking.

Ok, i hope this helps and maybe this year will be different??

Kidsan is right you should be prepared for the rains.
