Manali to Chandigarh via Manikaran

Is it possible to start from Manali early, visit Manikaran, and then come down to Chandigarh in a single day? I will be hiring a car. What may be the charges?
....life is a journey.....and the journey is more important than the destination........

Depends on how much time you spend in Manikaran. Manali-C'garh took me a little more than 9 hours, but it was in summer 2 yrs ago.

If you do not have work in Manali then try alighting in Bhuntar.From Bhuntar you can arrange a transportation to Manikaran and then back down to Chandigarh.

It will be a verreee loooong day! Parvati valley & Manikaran definitely deserve at least 1 day & night devoted to them.

It'll be tight but go for it. Get to Manikaran by 10am and at least spend two hours before heading to Chandigarh. We enjoyed our time at Manikaran and would visit again in future.
