Manali Bikes or Tourist Vehicle

We have a trip planned to Ladakh and we would be staying for 2 nights in Manali.

I am looking for either bikes or a tourist car like a qualis.

Can someone provide me information about the costs for the same. Which would be more convenient - bikes or a car. In my group, only 1 guy rides a bike and the rest others don't know how to ride a bike, but we can certainly ride gearless bikes. Are they recommended like Kinetic honda or something?

I would go by bus. As romantic as it sounds at the beginning, I guess that biking on the Himalayan roads is the unhealthiest way of travel. Between Manali and Leh one would inhale a couple of hundreds cubic meters of plumb and tar containing dust.

Ok, i am sorry I guess I did not make it much clear. I was referring to bikes only in Manali for 2 days. We are travelling to Ladakh from manali via a qualis.

Get a Qualis; you won’t get a gearless scooter for rent in Manali, though I could be wrong on this. Even the bikes you will get will be mostly RX100’s and Bullets, which frankly aren’t the best choice if you aren’t used to them.
