bahadur guest house
Scotsman,
dude if your flight is not yet booked then try www.southalltravels.com they have cheap flights to India and this guy told me that some flights even give you an option of changing the return date fopr free but you can only do that once usualy its £50-£75 to change the return dates. Check it out they should have flights before 30th of oct. I will be in himachal on the 4th of Oct staying two weeks in the following resort. its cheap but its not for smoking weed its a detox place they give you loads of treatments and yoga and meditation classes http://www.kayakalppalampur.com/ My time in manali is not fixed yet but if you there before me then don't forget to give me some tips as to where i should go ![]() , be in touch and i will give you a shout out once i am there, will be good to see another fellow traveler arround. I am also planning to go to alot of religious temples, i am not religious myself but these places have alot of mythology and it will be interesting to check them out. my email is ssandhu321@aol.com lemme know if you find a better bargain at southall travels Kullu thanks for the second guest house lead i will check it out |

Going to lots of religious temples... Im thinking of that too, like finding out about some of the main bhuddist temples around this area and visiting them, although I am not at all religious I am interested in Bhuddism and the teachings of Bhudda
I have booked my flights, sealed and stamped, and theres no refund! But I doubt Id find a cheaper flight because the nearest fair other than this one (which has to be booked before sep 26th) is £437 (inc tax), which is what this fair costs booking after sep 26th, from trailfinders. All the other airlines which I checked on travelsupermarket.com were over £500, I am happy with the price I paid! I'l Email you if I get a chance when I'm there! I hope there is some places with an internet in these untouched regions? (do you know kullu?) I gotta remember to get a bigger flashcard for the fuji finepix 3.2mp which is a handy wee camera cause its only 16mb just now which is hardly any photos... Maybe ebay has a good deal on one over 100mb which il find out. laters |

I bought a book today matt Barret and Annie its called footprints India. I am reading about Ksaul. There is a Kasauli near Shimla which i thought would be the same place. Some good stuff here, they talking about how paravati valley areas is full of druggies lol. oh well i am sold. I have one question though, how do you guys deal with police. If get stopped and searched(which apparently happens in Kasol) will they put me in Jail? i mean i am nto a smoker now but imight get tempted into one or two? back in the days at uni i was smoking everyday not anymore though it just puts me to sleep but i willhave to try malana cream. Anyways Scotsman, if Budhism is your trip then dude you must go to Dharamshala and Macloed Ganj, thats where all the budhists live. I am more into Hindu Mythology and study of the Vedanta. I know some really mythical places where Sadhus meditate for years. I am open for adventure, after finding this thread i am thinking about spending more time in Ksol/manali area then i hoping to. Lets see

well grizzly it totally depends whether a cop catches u or not
first of all there are many cafes and restraunts in kasol and old manali where people go and smoke hash freely just like amsterdam but u have to be careful look for clues not every cafe or bar is a hash bar.but normally a place where u see sm israeli guys sitting and smoking hash or chillum that place shud be cool. Also to avoid getting caught dont act stoned ,foolish, scared, or try to hide or get away from a cop i.e not doing anything to make him vary. u wont get searched upon unecessarily, but try not to carry the hash freely probably under the soles of ur feet in ur shoes or in ur briefs yes u got me right, coz indian policemen hate to reach there. now regarding malana cream there will be many people selling u malana cream or saying that it is mixed with malana cream, it is not at all malana cream no matter how good it smells, how soft it is, nd how stony it is. so dont trust anyone on this thing otherwise if u r 100% sure or u got it from malana urself. so my advice buy some good hash but if the guy says its malana nd all then he is just talking crap. another tip off if u go to some village to buy hash try nd buy it from middle to old aged women or from old aged men. young men are in it just for the money, and will most of the try to sell u inferior stuff telling it is something else for a higher price. so just take care i think this information should keep u safe and stoned he he.enjoy ur trip. |

then u go see sm people make sm casual talk dont straight say charas or hash if a guy comes to u straight decline him nd remember not everybody is a hash seller so if u ask sm1 who is not into these things problems might arise but all this info depends on how much u wanna smoke nd how often if u r going to be smoking for 1 or 2 weeks nd that too 2-3 spliffs a day then doing so much as going to the village is not worth the pain, just buy from any decent guy. ps near manali there is a place called vashisht village go there for hash, near kashol there is chalal village go there for smokes. |

u cud go to a village nd if u see a bunch of older people sitting and smoking u got the jackpot or u see sm women still u got it dont just go and ask hash go there greet them make sm talk sit with them if they look friendly enough nd after sm talking if they seem good enough or friendly enough considering they still havent dropped the bomb on u and asked u to buy then u ask, even if they dont have it ask them for whereabouts. last but not the least there is lot of bargaining to be done ideally anywhere b/w 200-300 a tollah would be cool. prices depends on quality, quantity and freshness nd a lot of other factors. better still u meet sm israeli guy nd see him smoking he can tell u where to get it best. |

nick; its a lost cause. i gave up after trying to persuade my niece against it. just so painful to read it. i am sure english teachers across middle and high schools are having similar opinions. must accept it as a new language i guess.
or maybe some peeps are posting on IM with their cell phones...those new ones you can do quite a bit. wish i could press a button in the menu bar that could translate this into normal english words...wouldnt that be cool? ![]() |

SMS is the same meaning as TXT.
There are, for instance, three letters in the word YOU: they are all on the keyboard and it takes little trouble to type them. To be honest, with predictive typing I don't even find that this nonsense abbreviation makes ending text messages any easier: unless you really have to say a lot in 128 characters! |
