Kullu to Kalka

Hi all,
Can anyone help me out with the Kalka-Kullu route? I will be leaving Delhi by a night train and reach Kalka early morning. Will I get any bus/other shared vehicle from Kalka to Kullu (early morning)? How long does it take from Kalka to Kullu and is there any option for a prior online booking?

You can check the HP buses website if they start from Kalka else definitely they have buses from Chandigarh.

I'd suggest you catch a bus from Ch'garh there's more choice & a faster route. either take a Manali bus or a bus to Mandi then change for Kullu. KK

Ditto! Get down at Chandigarh railway station. Buses to Himachal leaves from Sector 43 bus station and NOT from sector 17 bus station. Approx time from the railway station will be 20 minutes to the bus station early morning. There are buses leaving for Manali after 6 am from Chandigarh.

Thanks everyone for the inputs. Accordingly, I have decided to go via C'garh rather than Kalka. The concern is- I will be reaching there at wee hours in the morning (4 am approx.), will I get any vehicle bound to Manali that early in the morning?
