Thanks for all the help and answers to all the queries i raised here.

I have come back from a very satisfying and amazing 8 day trip of Kinnaur & Spiti. I thought of sharing the experience with IMers.

Great trip... I am jealous..!!

Dreaming of going to Chandratal for years, but haven't had the chance yet...

But your snowy experience, now makes me thing again.. I've never heard of snow there in Jun, so it was indeed a "once in a decade moment"..!!

Firstly for reading that out (slightly longish account).
Absolutely, Snow in Chandratal in June infact was a once in a decade moment. Even i hadnt heard about it ever, and that too after doing so much research on the whole trip before leaving.

And, one suggestion. If you've thought of going, you must go.
July is the Best time.
