Question Kaza To Manali/Keylong through Kunzum Pass Accessible Now?

Hello everyone!
I tried to find the latest news on the Kaza-Keylong route,but unable to find anything of substance.So,was just wondering,if anyone of you out there having any clear idea about it's latest status? If not already opened,when is it expected to open? Would last week of May [25th] be considered safe for a trip there?
It would be nice if anyone of you can share some links tracking the latest on this particular route;

Dear Soledad,

Keeping in Mind the past history of Kunzam La, i think it would open some where arnd 10th June. Moreover Kunzam La is not Maintained by BRO (border Road Organisation or Amry, nor its startegically Located from Amry's Prosecptive.

Hi Balvar!
Thank you very much for your response! Now,I have an idea of the road and it's clearance;I was planning a tour down there,and was wondering if end of May should be considered in any way or not;
By the way,do you know any phone numbers of some autenthic source at that area where to enquire about the road status,at the last moment?

Hi Khak!
Thank you very much for your information,and also the link.
So,after your recent trip to the area,you are of the opinion that Kumzum pass is not cleared before 1st June,right?
And what about Chandra Tal? Is it not possible to go near it and have a glimpse of the lake,even if Kunzum Pass is not cleared?

So,does that means,one has to cross Kunzum La pass so as to get the 14 Km mostly jeepable road which is ascending down to Spiti valley for a glimpse of Chandra Tal?

If you are comming from kaza side... then yes... you have to cross kunjum before you can get a glimpse of chandratal.
This is not my own experience but the info we recieved from our driver and other locals when we visited kaza last week.
So cannot vouch for accuracy.
