is the toy train and the luxury train(kangra queen) from pathankot to joginder nagar working? if yes then whats the duration, and how do we book it.
i could not book it on indianrail.gov.in though there is a description of kkangra queen under the section of hill trains, i could not find the train number on looking up train enquiry.

As far as I know, Kangra Queen, the luxurious tourist train, is out of service now. It might have not yet started. It was probably discontinued due to low tourist count. Neverthless, local trains ( about 4-5 pairs) run on this route everday. Two of these goes directly to Jogindernagar while others terminate midway. There is no need to book. Just get early to catch the train and take a window seat, and leave the rest to mother nature to unfold before you, with every curves and slopes, and with the mightly Dhauladhar range overlooking at you from the horizon.
