Kalachakra 2008 in Kaza Spiti????

Hi! Just called Kaza and the story is that since the new gompa in Kaza will not be completed on time the coming of HH to Spiti has been postponed to next year,on 7th July. I was in Spiti in summer so I can't be sure but I believe that the teachings of last year in Nako were not put in the teachings section of Tibet.com.

Thanks Voyager, hopefully i'll make it next year. Just booked a flight to Delhi for 10th Aug this year.

Just to clarify the situation with regard to the teachings in Spiti in 2008... HH Dalai Lama was due to give Kalachakra in Kaza this year, but this was withdrawn late last year as a result of petitioning from the organisers in Kaza who were not ready. The new dates for teachings in Kaza are posted as 10-12 July 2009, but this will not be Kalachakra, rather 2 days of Avalokiteshvara and one day of teachings to be announced.
