I don't think so. You can see his teaching schedule here: http://www.dalailama.com/page.60.htm

It shows that he will teach in Kaza in 2009, but not this year, and not the Kalachakra.

Sukriya is mostly used in kashmir. It's urdu word. widely used in movies not in spoken language.
Proper word is Dhanyabaad. It's a Hindi word and spoken in hindi speaking states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajstan, Himachal etc.

Spread dhanyabaad.

himachal-news

is not a reliable source regarding His Holiness Teachings & initiations.The only reliable ones are The Office Of Tibet & His Holiness website, why don't you trust it?Nevertheless if He was about to confer it there would be lots of promotion at least 1 year earlier so stay tuned.I'm also expecting the next one{although i received once}

Hi Pantelis how are you? I saw your Kaza thread any hotel emails in Kaza????
& thought that you were heading to Kaza for the Kalachakra (obviously not)
I was supposed to be flying to KTM in a few weeks then heading to Lhasa & then Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, but the *&%$£"£"%^* Chinese have shut all borders & won't say when they reopen....so now i'm looking at plan B. KK

Hi! Even the teachings that HH gave in Nako last summer were kept kind of secret if i'm not mistaken. This summer there are supposed to be teachings by HH around July end beginning August,it will NOT be a Kalachakra initiation,in Spiti they called it like that to get more attention and funds,but rather 3-5 days of lessons. At the same time the Dalai Lama is supposed to inaugurate the new gompas at Kaza and Lalung. I think I will be able to confirm fairly soon.

Hi! Basically no hotel in Spiti has a working email address,because they don't have a good connection and bookings are done on the phone,and many places will simply not accept bookings without an advance.

Could you please elaborate on your sources of information? I'm going to India from July 28 to August 26. Our plans were to head to Bodhgaya and Varanasi first, then Himachal. But if there is a realistic chance of seeing HH the Dalai Lama again, then I'd be compelled to rearrange the order of my trip.

Hi! It also happens that HH does not go to Ladakh in August,like in 2004,if my memory does not betray me. I heard about these Kaza summer 2008 teachings in the last 2 years from zillions of spitians,including the monk who is in charge of the construction of the new gompa and annexed buildings,who's my long time friend. Again, I will try to be more accurate within few days.
