|  Is It O.K. to reach Shimla directly w/o any tour package or booking? Friends, I m from rajkot. i am planning to go shimal,manali,rohtang in June. i think to reach shimla(via delhi by train) and then book room/hotel room there. i want budget schedule. I think OK? or anyone can suggest tour plan? Plz reply Thanks -Hitesh |

| April-June is tourist Season. However there are always tourist at Manali. Go in season, but do your bookings in advance. |

| Ok,w'll book in advance. but i m planning in budget. If i plan to travel by bus, wht is cost of -Delhi to Shimla -Shimla to Manali -Manali to Delhi ? |

| The government bus sightseeing tour would be cheaper than by private cab I should imagine. I would think there would be an office in Simla itself where you can discuss the options, and the places visited in those trips - I see there are 4 different tours offered. You might find in the long run, if you go by private taxi combining only the places you want to see then it works out much the same, instead of taking several bus tours. It seems to me that link you provided is 'right for sightseeing'!

Please note that there are a few trains Rajkot-Ambala and vice-versa. This will help you avoid changing stations in Delhi.
