| Info requried on Churdhar Hi again to my fellow trekkers ....I require some information regarding the Churdhar ...though I have gone through each thread relating to this in this forum but have still some outstanding questions(these questions are basically for this trek which I'm planning to do starting 20th March 2008. 1)Anyone having any sort of phone number or person to contact in Nauradhar? 2)Does one need guide to the top? 3)After starting the trek where one can stay if one does not have a tent means are there any place to duck down for a night. 4)Is there some place there where tents can be rented(Ans in one of the thread was no) but looking for some positive answer this time around  5)Any other inputs are welcomed looking forward to get replies asap |

| Completed the Churdhar Trek Hello all there as told I will be doing this trek on 20th March 2008 I have completed the trek and to tell you all it was worth being there at this time around we had a awesome time in Snow. Responses to queries asked by me is as follows: 1)Anyone having any sort of phone number or person to contact in Nauradhar? Mr. Satish Sharma 09816326776 he owns his own shop there with name 'Pandtha di Haati'. 2)Does one need guide to the top? No, the route is well marked and even if your are lost in the trails you either end up at the top of the Shivling or at the Temple. Exception is have to work out when there is more then 10 feet of snow covering the route and just top of the trees is visible .3)After starting the trek where one can stay if one does not have a tent means are there any place to duck down for a night. Yes, one can stay in Shelters build by making fire(if no tent and sleeping bag is there) , camp (if have tents and sleeping bag), or the Mud houses build and make fire  . 4)Is there some place there where tents can be rented(Ans in one of the thread was no) but looking for some positive answer this time around. The answer is NO  5)Any other inputs are welcomed Any other queries are welcomed  Thanks friends for valuable inputs that you have been provided in the threads relating to Churdhar which had made my 2008 start.
