| Huge help with itinerary In Himachal Pradesh I had booked a flight from Delhi to Leh and just discovered that the day of the flight has changed to a the day before I even arrive in India. I am now considering a change of plan and going to Himachal Pradesh instead and cashing in my ticket. My goal is to do a multi day trek at the end of July. One trek that I am considering is the Spiti trek. If I have around 12 days total in Himachal Pradesh, is the Spiti trek possible. If not, I am open to suggestion. A few other question: -How long does it take to gt to the start of the Spiti trek from Manali? - Is it easy to organize a trek once I am up there, or should I do it ahead of time? Much appreciate some good feedback. |

| Senior Member | Hi Hi, My suggestion would be .. Delhi - Shimla Shimla Shimla - Sarahan Sarahan - Kafnu (base) Kafnu - Mulling (hike Malling – Pistrang (5-6 Hrs) Pistrang – Bhabha pass – Paldar (4-5 Hrs) Paldar – Gurguru - Mudh (6-7 Hrs) From Mudh you may go to Tabo Maonastery in a shared jeep or the only bus which is in the morning .. Tabo Dhankar Dhankar - Kaza - Kibber The lingti valley hike (3 days( Kaza Manali .. I think this would be the best way to spend some good yime in Himachal Hope this helps .. Cheers, Dhananjay |
