Huge help with itinerary In Himachal Pradesh

I had booked a flight from Delhi to Leh and just discovered that the day of the flight has changed to a the day before I even arrive in India. I am now considering a change of plan and going to Himachal Pradesh instead and cashing in my ticket. My goal is to do a multi day trek at the end of July. One trek that I am considering is the Spiti trek. If I have around 12 days total in Himachal Pradesh, is the Spiti trek possible. If not, I am open to suggestion.

A few other question:
-How long does it take to gt to the start of the Spiti trek from Manali?

- Is it easy to organize a trek once I am up there, or should I do it ahead of time?

Much appreciate some good feedback.

Hi, I do not know much about the Spiti trek but I can say it is easy to organise everything from Manali or even closer, someone should be able to help more on this one.

Hi

Hi,

My suggestion would be ..

Delhi - Shimla
Shimla
Shimla - Sarahan
Sarahan - Kafnu (base)
Kafnu - Mulling (hike
Malling – Pistrang (5-6 Hrs)
Pistrang – Bhabha pass – Paldar (4-5 Hrs)
Paldar – Gurguru - Mudh (6-7 Hrs)

From Mudh you may go to Tabo Maonastery in a shared jeep or the only bus which is in the morning ..

Tabo Dhankar

Dhankar - Kaza - Kibber

The lingti valley hike (3 days(

Kaza Manali ..

I think this would be the best way to spend some good yime in Himachal

Hope this helps ..

Cheers,
Dhananjay
