want some info

hi everybody,good morning1
will rohtang and kunzum la be closed during the second half of october. can anyone give me the exact time of closing of these passes? thanks again.

If you can give us the exact time of the first heavy winter snowfall, I'm sure someone will come up with the exact time for closure of the passes.

Apart from that they are unlikely to be permanently closed in Oct, maybe for a few days.

Hi! In The Tribune of yesterday the news that one HRTC bus with passengers from Keylong managed to reach Manali,but the BRO still forbids traffic to heavy vehicles.

First vehicles across , and also first baby delivered : May 2nd

.. and now the first Keylong-Manali bus , on May 10th.

Rohtang La has been thrown open for Toursits on 11th May. Almost all the local Newspapers are carrying this news

Bus to Keylong

And the first bus to keylong did cross the rohtang la on 10th May also I was told that if the weather get worse the bus would be stopped though the small vehicals are still passing through it....

But,is the bus service still continuing ? And what about Manali-Leh road? Any news of it being opened by now?
