How bad is mcloedganj and dharamshala in monsoon( mid july)

Hi Friends,

I am planning to go to Mcloedganj on 2nd week of july, how bad is weather at that time?

Does it rain heavily , whole day?

How bad are roads at that time? as we are planning to go by our own car?

The monsoon isn't usually too heavy by the second week of July but Dharamsala sees a lot of rain. It will not rain all day every day but you could experience some heavy downpours. Usually, the really heavy rains that damage roads don't occur until August. Lots of tourists visit Dharamsala during monsoon especially on weekends. This weather blog will give you an idea.
