There is a snow point near Vashisht if I am not mistaken?

Thanks for your help.

I think is Hotel Bhrigu is quite far from Manali town. Can u suggest some decent hotel with 3-4 km of mall road.

What do you say about Hotel Vintage,Hotel Park Residency, Hotel Angel's Inn etc.

Out of the one mentioned, only Park Residency is a better hotel. Since it will be off season, you will be in a better position to bargain for good rates. Also check out Honeymoon Inn and Royal Park. These too fall in the 4 km radius.

Thanks for reply....

I have checked the rates for hotels suggested by you. As per respective websites of hotels

Park Residency : 1600 INR for Deluxe Room & 2000 INR for Luxury Room
Honeymoon Inn : 1540 INR for Deluxe Room & 1820 Honeymoon special room.
Royal Park Resort Manali : 2500 INR for Deluxe & 3500 INR for Luxury

I think that these rates are for pick season (except Honeymoon Inn). What do you think what will be rate for off season?

I feel that I should pre book the hotels since I don't have personal vehicle or taxi at Manali. Dose I am able to bargain over phone?

Please suggest me approximate discount fig on room rent offered during off season at Shimla & Manali.

You should be able to bargain on phone. 50% discount is a norm in Manali in off season

It's ok. HPTDC themselves runs buses from Manali to Kalka, starting from Manali at 8 a.m. and reaching Kalka at 6 p.m. I myself travelled by this bus and it was October. I am not sure of any off-season lack of service.

Regarding our tour in Jan end, we are planning this strech by hired car, as we have a child and five persons.

Thanks for your interest in the DVD.

The duration of the DVD is 1 hour 15 minutes. It is shot with a dedicated DVD Video Camera, wholly in widescreen mode and is fit for viewing in conventional as well as the latest widescreen LCD TVs. LCD/Plasma TVs will churn out superior picture quality. The DVD has all of the three forms, electric, diesel, and steam locomotive videos of Indian Railways presently running.

PM me about it.
