|  Honeymoon in Kufri and/or Fagu Hi, I am planning my honeymoon  in Jan 22-26th in Kufri / Fagu?what are some good hotels/resorts? What are the places to see in and around Kufri  ?Thanks, Shweta |

| Welcome to Indiamike and congratulations on your wedding. have you gone through the threads in this forum? lots of hotel and sight seeing suggestions. Just browse through them and I am sure before long someone will be along to answer this thread. Fagu and Kufri are both very near to Shimla. Narkanda is a wonderful place nearby where I would not mind spending my honeymoon |

| Thanks Nayan. I tried searhing but I was not able to find any good hotels in Kufri/fagu. Btw, how to reach Narkanda? I heard that it has started snowing in Simla? Cheers, Shweta |

| look into this threads Peach Blossom, Fagu or Hotel Pacific, Kufri? Narkanda and Beyond: Chakrata to Fagu/Shimla via Tuini-Hatkoti-Kharapathar Hotel Peach Blossom, Fagu or Chail Palace? Honeymoon in HP in February 1st week Narkanda is about 60 kms away from shimla towards rampur. Its very scenic with mountains and pine forests etc. there are lots of hotels and resorts too. Its on NH22. you can go there in a cab(hired from wherever you are staying). Buses going to rampur, recong peo etc from shimla will be going via narkanda. | Fagu is 22 kms from shimla and about 5 kms from kufri. Places of interest around fagu/kufri will be the same as that around shimla. |

| As mentioned above, Fagu is 22 km ahead of Shimla towards Kufri. Best way to travel is by toy trains to Shimla and then take a bus/cab from Shimla. Search for Kalka-Shimla toy trains on this forum. Else you can travel by bus/cab to Shimla and then onwards to Fagu. Peach Blossom and Snow King Retreat are the good hotels in Fagu. Peach Blossom can be found on HPTDC site. Just Google for Snowking Retreat for more info. Quote:
