Himachal Sees Snow

For all those traveling to Himachal. Kufri and Narkanda saw reasonably heavy snowfall yesterday.

While this does not factually suggest that the chances of travelers seeing snow in Shimla is 100% , it is suggestive that Shimla will get snowfall early in the year. This is keeping in with the trend last year.

Kashmir/Jammu also saw snowfall.

But at the same time an off seasonal southern wind is also blowing in, this has increased the temperature on the plains like Delhi, Chandigarh. The weather has turned quite crazy lately.

There was 10 cm.of snowfall in solang valley and abt 2 feet of snow in rohtang,even manali had a little snow.

any information on weather in dharamsala and dalhousie at this time?planning to go there in the end of january...any info most welcome

Dalhousie had some snow,but you cant be sure abt weather in the end of january.
