Himachal Pradesh itinerary?

My wife and I wish to visit Dharamsala, McLeodganj, and Dalhousie for our honeymoon, in the last week of January. We will be attending a conference in Chandigarh before that, and plan to go to Dharamsala from Chandigarh. Our plan is to go to Dalhousie from Chandigarh, stay there for a day & visit Khajjair / Chamba, and then move on to Dharamsala for 3 days, cover Dharamsala, Mcleodganj and Kangra, and then onward to Delhi, either by bus or train from Pathankot. Is our plan sensible, and viable? Or is there a better itinerary? Please help!!!

Have you checked on weather conditions in January in those places?

I'm hoping to do a similar route in June, and I'm thinking it will be pleasantly cool at that time. I'm wondering if you'll encounter snow, and if that might delay your travel... It sounds like you may be scheduling things a bit tightly.

I hope we'll hear from someone with more experience.

Going to Dharamshala and Dalhousie for a honeymoon vacation is a good idea. The time is a bit too wintery (cold). You might get snowed in and even get stuck for a day or two. I live in Manali.
Jan end should be the coldest time of the year. Choose deluxe hotels with some heating and asured hot water.

Do you think the road from Pathankot to Dharamshala will be snowed under?Will conveyance be a problem?
