Help with Cottages in Manali

Hi,

I am going to Manali in June 9th-13th with my parents.
I was initially looking at some of the hotels like snowvally resorts and banon resorts. They are ridiculously expensive. I think spending the same amount on the cottages would worth it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on cottages in Manali? I came across HPTDC cottages (which are hardly available)Can anyone share their experience with the cottages? Does these cottages have cook?

Also, any suggestions or ideas on taxis? Is renting from unions the best option? Does any of the cottage providers also provide taxis (of course, for more money) ?

Thanks a lot,
Shirish

Hi KK,

Thanks for that but I could not find photos there. I just joined the group. Are they like disabled for a new person?

Also,
Do you know any exotic places to see the culture etc? Basically, I want to avoid these crowded places and want to see something different. But I should keep in mind that it would be with my parents, so NO for high-funda trekking etc.
