|  Help required to plan my trip Greeting to all and Happy new year... I am planing to Shimla for Hannymoon in Last week of feb. While returning I want to go DalHausi also. So my plan is like Delhi to Shimla by train(Stay 3day and 2 night) then want to move to Dalhausi and return back from pathankot by train. I have only 5-6 days. So can any one tell me that how will be weather at that time and which type of convence is availabe from shimla to Dalhausi. which other place an be visit in this small duration and on this root. All types of suggestions are welcome. Thanks in adv. |

| Shimla and Dalhousie are poles apart. I won't suggest combining together for the honeymoon trip otherwise you will just be traveling all along. Either do Shimla and Manali together or Dalhouse and Dharamshala. These could be the best options for your trip. Quote:

| Thanks Thanks vasuki.. I want to Skip Manali...thats why i thought to go to Dalhausi. Is there any other place nearby Shimla to visit ? Otherwise I will think again to go Manali. Thnaks again.. |

| Dear drop the idea of going to Dalhousie in Feb end. Dalhousie is totally closed at that time of the year. Years ago I too had gone there for my honeymoon in Feb end. We reached around 12 at night from Pathankot. Next morning we hardly found any shop open for breakfast. On enquiring, we came to know that local people tend to shift down to plains at that time of the year, due to cold. We immediately hired a taxi and moved to Manali. Manali is a very good place, though travelwise it is hectic, but beautiful and busy. You would find almost knee deep snow in Sohlang valley just close to Manali. Enjoyyyyyyyy |

| Thanks Ashudhawan and Vasuki, As per your suggestion. I am droping the Idea to go Dalhouie. But then spending 5 day in Shimla will be too much. so better if I will directly go to Kullu and Manali. There I think Lot of place to visit in Five days (as per my best knowledge  ). What will be your suggestion.. ?Thanks Again... |

| Sure Kullu and Manali will be great for Honeymoon.
