Question Has anyone been to Drahal Village? What to expect in a tiny HP village?

Has anyone been to Drahal Village? My partner and I are thinking of visiting a friend who lives there and we have no idea what to expect. If anyone has been to Drahal, or any small (I mean tiny) villages in HP I'd love to hear your thoughts on what we might expect.
BTW we've spent 8 weeks in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and we know we love India and adore Indian people, but we're still rookies really and don't want to get in too deep.
Any tips would be appreciated..
Cheers,
Kitten

Agree totally, I had a week in a village in Gujarat, one of the best weeks of my life, it will be better than any tourist destination.
