Guesthouses & TM in McCleod Ganj
Hello,
Was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for clean and reasonable guesthouses in McCleod? We will be staying for about 3 weeks plus from mid-sept. Also, has anyone heard about any TM courses there or in the area? I know of Vipassana centre but not sure if TM is around. Thanks and happy travels!  |

hi....there are many guest houses in mcleod of varying cost. I guess you might mean at the cheaper end? if so, the Om is popular for good reason and the paljyor gakyil has great views and nice rooms. These two i know well, im sure others will be along to make recommendations.
TM is not available in McL as far as i know. There is a vipassana centre as you say, also a tibetan retreat centre next to it which runs retreats. Also various other smaller meditation groups so you may find something to interest you. Hope you enjoy it! |

The Seven Seas G/H in Bhagsu just above Mcleod is good at around RS300 for a large tiled room with clean large bathroom & rooftop restaurant. Let me know if you require the email add.

Annex Hotel, lovely staff, nice and clean and breakfast at the Rooftop Cafe with a nice view. Ask for Gulzar, he probably meet you at the bus station any way.....
