going to hemkunt sahib gurdwara

hemkunt is closed for a few days. was planing to fly to india and travel to hemkunt sahib but been told they are repairing a bridgr there??? can anyone help???????????????????

There is a big thread on Hemkund sahib.. see here. Btw, Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is not in Himachal, it is in Uttarakhand..

hi again. sorry didnt quite understand your reply. im based in the uk and was going to go my inlaws for a day or so and they travel to hemkunt sahib.
n inida th enews is that it is closed for a few days. how can we find out when it re opens?

Which bridge was closed? One of the road bridges on the way to Govind Ghat? One of the foot bridges leading up to Ghangaria? Something on the path from Ghangaria to Hemkund?

I was there two weeks ago and it was all open.

hi. I i didnt realise there was so many bridges. my hubbys in india and im flying this fri and were going to hemkunt sahib. my husband said he heard on the TV. Hes trying to find out but its quite difficult over there.
how was your experience? is it how over there? whatsort of things should i take! how long it it actually take you?
