Delhi to Kullu
What are the modes of transport available from Delhi to Kullu?Are there any buses which go from the Delhi airport?
And tentatively how long will the journey take? Please help! Thank you. |

There wont be a bus from delhi airport to kullu. no way.
Taking a bus from kashmir gate bus station in old delhi is your best bet, there are several buses to kullu every day and night buses. you can get a cheap bus from kashmir gate - kullu for about 300rs but these are the poorest most uncumfortable old buses. spend 750-900rs and you can get an air conditioned volvo bus with big comfortable reclining seats. a night bus would be you're best option when its cooler and you can sleep also. It takes about 10 hours if i remember correctly! (november 06) if you want to go in the morning im sure there are day buses also because theres loads of buses going to kullu from kashmir gate dailly good luck |

my pleasure. one final important thing... get a pre-paid taxi from the airport into delhi it will save you some rupees and hassle

Well, one doesnt HAVE to ..there are enough options to save time..one option for example is to get to Chandigarh and then catch something from there...but if you are not stressed for time then i would not advise it...

Err, considering another thread breeze started on Solan and surroundings... may not be a bad idea to get to Chandigarh, and look at that area, too.
If time permits, of course. |
