delhi to kalka

will be ariving at kalka from delhi to take the himalyan queen to simla.need to grab something to eat at kalka.any suggestions?

Many basic restaurants just outside the Kalka Station. It's a very small station.

Depends on what time your train is. I was there last december at 4 am and nothing but a tea stall was open selling wafers and biscuits. You get breakfast/lunch served on the train however. First serving is included in the ticket price. You can take another helping though by paying for it.

Yes, very true - @OP - why don't you let us know the time you arrive at Kalka?

@O'Street - Are you sure that Himalayan Queen serves food (cost included in ticket)? AFAIK, only Shivalik Deluxe serves food (included in price of the ticket) - though you can buy food from the canteen at Barog station, subject to the stoppage time of your train there.
