Delhi-Manali HPTDC Volvo?

Hi,

I am doing the Delhi-Manali-Leh route in Aug 2012. I will be traveling from Delhi to Manali by HPTDC Volvo which starts from Delhi around 6:30 pm.

I wanted to know around what time can I expect the bus to reach Manali since I have leave Manali as soon as I reach for Keylong/Jispa. The website says 8am. But how punctual is it? Usually what time do the bus reach? Especially, since it might rain in August.

I went last september and though it rained heavily the night of my travel, the bus was on time......The last bus for Keylong is around 11:00 so you have time to get to leh. Btw, its advisable to go via srinagar and come back via manali to allow for acclimatization... I'm doing that myself in the same month.

Actually I have already booked my Srinagar Mumbai flight tickets for coming back and Mumbai Delhi tickets for going so can't change the plan now.
Anyways I hope the bus reaches manali by 8 am so that I can leave for Keylong soon.
