Day treks around Shimla
Hello,
Does anyone know of any good treks around Shimla that could be done in a day? We are visiting the first week of June. We would love to trek from village to village but we will have our backpacks with us so not sure that will be possible. So we thought we could do some day treks instead so we can leave our backpacks at our hostel for the day. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Sally |

Thanks rishabh6296,
We were thinking of going along the road through Kufri and Fagu so Hattu Peak would be an excellent place to trek to, I hadn't even seen it on the map i have! It doesn't mention it in the lonely planet book. Thanks Sally |

Hi
Hi,
The shali Peak Hike is one option. Mashobra - Sipur - Kanda - Dak Bungalow Catchment area walks Narkanda - Hatu TAradevi area walk ... All these are best ... I dont know how to get to the link , but there used to be an elaborate post detailing the walks around Shimla ... if someone could find that ... Cheers Dhananjay |
