can you tell me about dashera in kullu. i will be there during puja. i need info photo about this special festival. please help

Have you tried Google Images for pictures of Dusshera at Kullu? I found quite a few of them.

This is a wonderful festival; I was there in 1971 (things were more primitive then) and had a wonderful time!

Oh it's nothing like it was in 1971!!
I caught the last day in 2005, and all it is now is a big commercial jamboree. The local dances which I'd wanted to see were too few and very far between, the rest of the time they had Hindi filmy song and dance!

I'm never doing it again.

Dilliwala, I'm sorry to hear that this has become commercialized, but then most of the easy-to-get-to melas have been.

On day 1 when the dieties come in is a treat to watch. Rest of the days... as Dilli mentioned.
