Is it possible to meet Dalai Lama in Dharamsala? Does he do public apperances in Dharamsala? If so are those posted on the internet? Is there a good way to find out if Dalai Lama is in Dharamsala or not when one is there?

Several questions maybe sombody has one or many answers.

I don't know how you go about registering, but as far as I'm aware he does give public audiences every so often at his HQ. One of my friends got to shake his hand at one of these gatherings.

Public Teachings Schedule for His Holiness

The Security Office (Bagsu Nath Road , opposite side and a way up from Tibetan Youth Congress , if I remember it right) handles registration for audiences (normally a smile , a handshake and a red string as a blessing) .
