Confused about the route to take...
Hi
I am planning a tour of Delhi-Amritsar-Chandigarh-Manali this June. I will be flying to Delhi and taking the Shatabdi Express to Amritsar. After Covering Amritsar I will be moving onto Chandigarh. I have heard about Dharmshala ie Mcleodganj. How should I fit this in my itenary. Is Mcleodganj really worth visiting? Thanx PS. My First Post |

About 6-8 days excluding Amritsar..

If you want to see Dhasa/Mcleod, go there directly from Amritsar via Pathankot. And then to Manali.
See Chandigarh on the way back, or on the way in, before Amritsar. The sequence you mention makes no sense and involves a lot of back-tracking. |
