whehter Bhakra Nangal Dam is accessable from Chandigadh - Dharmshala route? is it worth to visit? how much time required? is there any permission required?
is it wrth to stay at Dharmashala and move around for 3-4 days to covfer all places? or any other option for Kangra Vally?

If you like dams,then you must visit Bhakra,you will have to take permission to visit Dam in Nangal.Nangal is 100 kms from Chandigarh.Mclodganj/Bhigshu valley is a better place to stay and is not far from Dharamshala.
Yes ! by Anandpur Sahib - Una - Nangal route. But it's not a tourist spot and they don't allow photography at Bhakra Dam.
