Red face Beware of an White Alto no. HP01K 1126

Hey IMer s this a notification to all the mikers who travel by car to the spiti valley and himachal
A car no HP01K 1126 is a fraud guy named ango
Avoid this alto
dont be trapped in his words,,

This is the incidient for you to decide

As we reached kaza a guy shortbuild with a bit of more flesh approached us. he asked whether we would travel in his car. We agreed at a lumpsum of 7000/- for the following places for 2.5 days
1/pin valley upto muddh
2/dhankar
3/ kye
4/kibber
5/kommic
6/lanzgha
7/chandertaal
8/losser

he will drop us at losser

1st day
went good
we visited dhankar & mudh

the guy showed his colors on day 2
he started arguing that we have not told him of kommic
but we argued on and he obliged
day 2
evening was eventful
he offered us a deal
he will drop us at manali at a mee excess of 1000/-
we didnt agreee
he then tried to dump us with other passengers on a sumo
we didnt oblize
day 3
he showed that he is nt fit for the humble himachalis
he woke us up early at 6
we atarted early even though it was drizzling
he said that chandertaal would be fine
we believed(Every blindly can believe himachalis nt this guy)
On reaching kunzam top we dramatized
he started telling we cant go down to the lake it would be of life risk adventure
all of us got frightened...
nothing could be seen in the fog
we asked him to wait at the kunzam top
he said he cant wait...
he needs to drop us at losar and he may go off
the fraud now not being ashamed of his fraudulent attitude took the total money...
may be i Cursed him alot
Still he may not have stopped his act of fraud

Facts:
1. An alto cannot reach chandertaal
2. Kunzam remains fog covered at most of times(We saw the same condn the nxt day when we visited there in a sumo)
3. Himachali or other mountain people are good but the others migrate there for bussiness to danmage the honesty and helpfulness of the Good samaritans uphill

Can't understand much of that.

It doesn't matter if English is not your first language, we don't hold tests for grammar and spelling --- but many of us dislike SMS, or find it hard to follow. This site is not a phone or a chatroom. Please use real words.

Thank you for that

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Even with cabs in the city, whilst most drivers are cooperative and just want to get the job done, occasionally one encounters a guy who is difficult, won't take the route specified, insists his, longer, route is better, etc etc.

. Just how did he "take" the total money? Did you not have to give it to him?

In this day & age I would have printed copies of itinerary for all parties made up - signed & understood by all. Verbal agreements are a bit archaic with all the dialects & literacy levels that one runs into. I've found that even half day itineraries can be misunderstood, forgotten or purposely misconstrued by some operators.

Indeed. To borrow a Goldwynism, a verbal agreement isn't worth the paper it's written on.
