Question Banon Resort or Apple Country Resort for Honeymoon?

Hi Friends,

I am planning to go to Manali for my Honeymoon sometime around 13-14 march. After lot of web searching I have shortlisted Banon Resorts and Apple Country Resorts for my stay.
The package provided by both (3N/4D)fits in my budget.
But I need your help and suggestions before I could finalize any one of them.
Pl guide me as I have never been to Manali before.

Thanks in Advance.

If it was me, I'd choose Banon, walking distance from the market, if need be.
Apple Country is at the end of a road, quiet area, a bit far to walk from the market, but 3-wheelers are easily available in either direction.

The Banon is a good place , expect that avoid the rooms above the kitchen. I had gone through the RCI , & they gave me the worst room in the whole hotel.
The rooms above the reception & atrium are good ,with good views of the mountains.
And , yes the location is very good , very close to the Mall road.

Apple Country

I would suggest Apple Country as it is located at most beautiful location in Manali. But its a bit far from Manali, so you can't just walk down to main market (mall road). If you have private transport its the best option you can choose.

Mall road -> Banon resort (1km approx) -> Apple country (2.5 kms approx).

Most of the good hotels are located on Log Huts road, and select "ONLY" hotels on Log huts road, if you are going for honeymoon.

Another good option is Johnson & Johnson resort. Its very near to Mall road and mostly remains occupied by foreigners and its a bit costly too, so contact in advance. I wonder why its not visible net.

Let me know if you need more info.

I would suggest you look at Holiday Inn too. Its a little away from the mall road though.

I paid 16999 for 3N/4D package in-season.
offseason shd be cheaper.

EXCELLENT in every way .. food, facilities, service. I have no other words to describe.
