Manali (peaceful Places In June)
MANALI WOW
June is a great period For Manali even though it may rain. Crowd is generally quite a lot in Manali Its best if you stay in naggar in a small guest house etc or the Naggar Castle Hotel which has rooms of various categories or you can stay in Old Manali in small Guest house or basic hotels Or stay in Vashisth Kund which has very beautiful view of the Himalayas or the peaks of Solang Valley. Generally all upmarket Hotels are in town with lots of hustle bustle of tourist there are 3 to 4 Up market Hotels in Palchan and 3 to kms before Manali which is quite peaceful for which you might have to pay from Rs 2000 onwards per night. Trekking can be easily organised with Trekking agencies in Manali who provide services of Guides,Trekking Packages,Std phone services,Bus tickets But make sure you calrify all details like type of tents,Food simple rice or Basmati rice type of food quality of food.Qualification of the Mountain Guide,Porters inluded or not included,Sleeping bags etc etc Also you can do a 2 days Jeep Safari either to Chandratal Lake or Prashar Lake with over night camping This is exactly what we do........You can follow the guidelines and will enjoy this well planned schedule. 01Wake-up at 0500 hrs. Tea with biscuits at 0515 hrs. Move for Solang to Dhundi (2480m) by car at 0530 hrs (8 km). Packed breakfast at Dhundi. Start at 0630 hrs from Dhundi for Beas Kund (3540m) (6 km trek) or hight gain to the snow line as far as possible. Glissading ( slide on the snow). Packed lunch at 1200 hrs. Start at 1300 hrs from snow line for Dhundi. 6km downhill trek. To and fro approx. 12km. trek Reach Dhundi by 1600 hrs. By car from Dhundi to Solang. Evening tea at 1700 hrs.Dinner at 2000 hrs.Camp fun. Night halt in Solang Nala. Pls make sure you go to Manali and dont think to much about crowds as I have told you where to find peace |
