any feedback on HPTDC hamta huts/hidimba cottage/hotel beas/hotel rohtang manalsu

which is better between HPTDC hamta huts/hidimba cottage/hotel beas/hotel rohtang manalsu.
I am first time traveller to manali. just playing safe and choosing between gov provided places.

Hadimba and Hamta are a little away from the main market and at times you may be the only guests there. Beas is own the banks of river beas and is a budget accomodation. Rohtang Manalsu is a good option, a 5 minutes walk from the city center and rooms are ok and food decent. Just don;t book the annexe rooms there as they are in a run down condition.

If you prefer private hotels, Shingar Regency is recommended with good rooms and view.

Stay away from the Beas. There is an iron-bridge next to it and EVERY TIME a vehicle goes across, it rumbles and clatters. Every few seconds in the day sometimes. Won't be pleasant at night when u're trying to sleep, even if it's every half-hour.

Manalsu is the best, I'd say. Obviously not as expensive as the Cottages, but in the same general area.

the cottages are the best since they are located in the higher and less crowded area,Beas as dilliwala has pointed is the worst for obvious reasons.
