This is a heavily used route...... most likely the Army will have the bridge up in 15 days time....

Can't say the same for the Sutlej bridges, cuz the river valley is REALLY DEEP and the vertical rock faces on both banks make it very difficult to construct ANYTHING, let alone bridges...

Absolutely Avid Trekker: No doubts but Army wont keep it down and more over himalayan_beckon army in upper regions cannot allow these roads to blocked for a longer time as this is a lifeline for this section of the strech....

Near Pang there are 3 bridges and two of em are like you can cross easily even in ur 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler. If its a third one Army will surely be taking it as urgent lookback task....its not gonna take long before its up..!

the bridge went down in koksar (darcha). i was on the first tourist bus to cross. we were lucky and the whole event only ionconvenienced us a few hours. it got very messy i heard 100s tourists stranded. as i write the bridge was down as of seven days ago or so my infio has it.

two OVERLOADED trucks bent the fuck out of the bridge - double the weight.
