I have mentioned about the bhimkali temple guest house in your earlier thread(narkanda vs sarahan). Its cheap and very clean.
You can read the details in my triplog/article.

Other than that there are a few guest houses.... but as far as I saw from the outside, the temple guesthouse seemed far better option.

But be warned that the temple guest house fills up very quickly, and you shouldn't count on getting in there.

I arrived in Sarahan on a bus from Shimla last year, along with another half dozen or so western tourists. All the others headed straight down to the temple, while I went directly to the HPTDC hotel. The temple was full, and by the time the others had got back to the hotel I had taken the only room they had left.

The hotel isn't a bad option and should not be dismissed. It's a bit grim from the outside, and has certainly seen better and busier days inside, but my room had a balcony with a stunning view over the valley to the snow-capped mountains beyond and had a good bathroom with hot shower. I think it was about Rs.1000 per night.

Of the budget accommodation, the temple is the most attractive and atmospheric but there are other guest houses too. Some are little more than rooms in private homes, tucked away behind the visible buildings. I met one guy there who had a perfectly adequate (if basic) room for Rs.350 per night. Just ask around.

There are quite a few guest houses there, especially around Bhimkali temple and there is even a Kali Bari there if I remember correctly
