Hotel Rohtang Manalsu is an enjoyable 15 min. walk from the HPTDC tourist information office, on the Hadimba Temple road.

Manali Trip

Hi Shimla,
Thanks a lot for the info.
Can somebody give inputs on my trvel plan to Manali.?
I am plaaning a trip to Manali in March 2005.Probably i will be there from 12th to 15th of March 2005(i.e 3 nights/4days).Will this be enough to cover places around Manali.?
How about the Minimum & Maximum Temp. around that time?.
Are the rooms clean at Hotel Rohtang Manalsu ?.
How about those Daily tours conducted by HPTDC in Manali?.

Thanks & Rgds.,
-Hari.

Manali in March will be pleasantly cold.

Though I haven't stayed at Rohtang Manalsu, I'm sure about its service and maintenance, being an HPTDC unit, for whom I have a high regard.
However, I recommend your staying at Hotel Beas, on the river front. This is also an HPTDC unit. The sheer pleasure of staying near the playful river is unmatched!!

HPTDC conducted tours to Palchan, Solang Nullah, Jagatsukh, Naggar and Manikarn will be very much on in March.

Stay at Manali for 4 nights, 5 days. If you have more time, stay at Kullu too and visit Katrain and Raison.
