| 14 foreign tourists sustain injuries in himachal SOURCE : http://www.tribuneindia.com/2005/200...himachal.htm#8 Dharamsala, September 4 A major tragedy was averted when a bus carrying foreign tourists overturned near McLeodganj last night but was saved from rolling down into a khud after it hit a house along the road. As many as 14 foreign tourists sustained minor injuries. According to the police, the accident took place around 10 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a small blockage on part of a road due to a landslide. The bus hit a house along the road and overturned. The bus was going to Manali from McLeodganj. The tourist-passengers were brought to Dr Rajendra Prasad Zonal Hospital. The driver of the bus, Karam Singh, has been booked for negligent driving. |

| Thank God there are no fatalities.. These things keep happening on Himachal roads due to the ..narrow roads and mountain sides..etc all. Thank God. |
