1 week only in himachal

where should i go? my husband and i have been travelled a lot in the south but not in the north, and i am overwhelmed by the possibilities. unfortunately, our time is limited because we are travelling with a friend.

any ideas on like the best arrangement of places to go if we only have about 6 days to spend would be much appreciated! thanks.

Hi

Go to Kullu, Manali, Rohtang Pass and Dharamsala....

All these places r accessible in summer...and they are beautiful.

I have been to Dharamsala..pls read my travelogue, u will love it, and get info on where to stay, what to do..etc.

You haven't mentioned when !

If you are planning for March, then spend 4 days at Shimla and 2 at Kasauli.

sorry. going mid-april - i know it's the high season but there's nothing i can do about it... so anyplaces that would be less crowded would be great.

Shimla and Kasauli would still be okay, for mid-April.

Another alternative is Chamba-Khajjiar-Dalhousie, accessed from Pathankot.
