When bottled water tastes bad, do you still drink it?

... And in a nutshell, yes, bottled water can go bad. So if it doesnie smell or taste right, don't drink it. (As distinguished from some taste it may just naturally carry, of course.)

(Come to think of it, I did notice this with a lot of Indian brands in particular. Maybe it's just the climate, but it's not something you'd want to open then put the cap back on and drink a week or even two days later I wouldn't say, certainly not if left unrefrigerated, so for the average traveler. Luckily, with normal use you'll have finished it way before that anyway.)

Yeah, I did ask, believe me. This is what the neighbors buy!

I changed my supplier though, and the new shop only charges Rs 60. The shopkeeper told me that most of the local distributors tack on Rs. 10 as a "handling and delivery" fee, but he doesn't.

So, I give Rs. 10 to the delivery guy directly.
