Natural Anxiety reliever

Kava Kava's a good one. But it's banned in UK now.
Unfortunately.

Black Flag,
Although the nice man behind the counter hooked you up without a script,
It seems he was really being safe with the doseage he gave you, its actually pretty cool to think: Compassionate enough to break the law to help ya, but still being very responsible about it Its a good thing really..

Ikuru,
Mescaline instead of xanax eh?
heheh oh man, ill just slip my grandmother a couple of peyote knobs next time she feels a little anxious..
Forget the xanax grandma, just wait an hour, then ask god when he shows up on a purple elephant to write you another script!

As I am sure everyone realizes, it probably wouldn't hurt to do a little research before you go (what you want to buy, any meds you are currently taking and possible interactions, current medical conditions, etc.). I think WebMD is very helpful. Also, Codeine can lead to "the constipation" as my gram calls it, for some people with long-term use. good luck!!!!!

Wow. I am suprised at the amount of people that have also had anxiety and panic attacks on this board. Here is me thinking I am the only one.

I have the Claire Weekes book which I love but sometimes I still get a bit freaked out on flights. I did CBT and was on Zoloft to get rid of my panic attacks but that doesn't stop me from sometimes having a slight panic episode on a plane. Last time I took only one valium and was sleepy then ok.

Better than losing the plot.

well for me its just for sleeping well and not skipping a few nights when on the road at long journeys. Last time I didn't sleep for over 40 hours (Delhi-Moscow-Madrid with long change-overs, I was a walking deadman). I just can't sleep while sitting. That's why I sometimes take a valium, just to prevent extreme tiredness....

I dicovered Melatonine this year and that regulated my sleeping pattern rather well. It's also a free radical scavenger I believe.

There was a melatonine combination that worked even better but I can't remember the other drug involved............Try it Chapati!!

You'd do MUCH better with Melatonin...definitely works for what you are describing...or there's also the herb valerian...which is also great. Less dangerous or habit forming than drugs

Free Oxidising Radicals are by-product of cell metabolism.
Cyberhippe reckons that melatonin helps to 'repair' the damage done by FORs.

Melatonin is a hormone and little is known about it, apart from helping to regulate day/night - light/dark influence in the brain. Said to be helpful for jetlag - but not proven.

He may well be right - just that I never came across it (biochemistry 3 yrs)

Its one of the few, if not the only hormone not regulated by the FDA here in the United States..

I love Melatonin, and have used it for years. Walmart carries a nice stock and the cost breaks down to 7 cents a pill, or something like that..

Also, I know this is off topic but, if your a rasta and real-life smoke stack from your wake and bake mornings, burning until night, then you should know that Marijauana depletes your melatonin naturally reserved in your body..

Taking a melatonin suppliment can help to brign back that deep sleep and vivid dreams, especially if your a long time, daily partaker like me

Aloha
