Typhoid Vaccine Available in Kerala?

Hi there,

Sorry to be posting yet another vaccine-related query -- there are so many I thought I'd be able to find an answer, but no dice yet.

I am currently living and working in Japan and will be traveling to India for 9 weeks, starting in Kerala in mid-March. I am working on getting my necessary jabs, but it's not all going as well as I'd hoped. Apparently there is no typhoid vaccine available in Japan (?!), and Hep B is also hard to come by. So my plan is to get Hep A, Tetanus and a Polio booster here (along with plenty of DEET and anti-Malaria meds) and then get the Rabies vaccine while in India, and hopefully Typhoid as well. Does anyone know if these are even available in Kerala? I'll be there for a month and then plan on languidly meandering north.

Yes.
Typhoid Vaccine Capsular polysaccharide Rs 290 per 0.5 ml
Oral typhoid vaccine Rs 275/ 3 capsules.
