tubercolosis in INDIA
Hi i would just like to mention about tubercolosis T.B in india it was somthing i did not pay much attention to but haveing had tb when i was in my teens
I am now undergoing some testa on my lungs will not know the out come for a week or so but my consultant is a bit concerned that i spent a month in india and there may be a possability that i may have contracted tb again. I have also been studying the problem with the disease in india and around half a million people a year die from TB in india. does anyone else have any info on this topic would be good to know cheers mikkie |

As long as it is early recognized and properly treated it should not be a big thing (not to disregard the new treatment resistant varieties but they are still uncommon). I was in a high risk area for a couple of years and they make me take the annual test, no big deal. TB is found in India. In the villages the quacks treat the symptoms until it is hopeless and then pack off their victims to a Govt. TB hospital. I seem to end up visiting such.
