Travel Insurance that covers you in the US???

Just wondering... has anyone used Clements International Travel Insurance? I'm really trying to find insurance that will cover me when I come home to the US for a visit, and it is a challenge, to say the least! They also offer short-term health insurance which I'm sure I'll need once I'm back in the US.

Has anyone else in the US found a solution to this problem? It seems like a catch-22 - most travel insurance expires the moment you're back in the US, but if you're between jobs, you're not covered at all! And short-term travel insurance can be really hard to find, seems to me...

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I meant for US residents....

Thanks for your response, Eldoras/Agosto, however, I meant for US residents. Unfortunately, the coverage from World Nomads is for single trip only, meaning, as soon as you return to your home country (in my case, the US) your coverage is terminated. With Clements, at least you have 15 days coverage in the US for a visit to family, however, I will be home for 7 weeks before going abroad again and I'm trying to find the best way to do that and still be covered.

For US residents, maybe there is no good way Since our healthcare system is really meant for the gainfully employed, which I am no longer...
